National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) is a public research university in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan. It was founded in 2021 by the merger of National Yang Ming University and National Chiao Tung University. NYCU was formerly the College of Medicine of National Taiwan University, founded in 1937. National Chiao Tung University was formerly the National Institute of Technology, founded in 1958. NYCU is one of the top public universities in Taiwan, consistently ranked among the best in the world.
