Feng zikai Chinese Childrens Picture Book Award
The Feng Zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Award is the first international Chinese children's picture book award. It aims to continually encourage more investment in creative talent, and help promote the publication and wide distribution of high-quality, Chinese children's picture books and their importance in childhood literacy. The first Feng Zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Conference and International Forum on Children's Picture Books was held in Hong Kong. On July 22nd, 2009, the first Feng Zikai Children's Picture Book Award Ceremony was held in Hong Kong. 12 winners were shortlisted by a panel of eight judges from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States out of more than 330 entries from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
This year, it is the fourth Feng zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Award. The organization ordered a crystal trophy as a souvenir. The crystal trophy is divided into two parts. The first part is a crystal ball, carving the logo of the award. In the middle of the logo, there is a picture about three children reading intently by Feng Zikai. The second part is a cuboid crystal trophy. In the front side, engraved with the award name, winner's name and the article name. At the bottom, engraved the winner's name as a seal. The trophy is peculiar and the design is novel. The whole crystal trophy, reflecting the soft and hard lines well, is an extremely executive gift.
